Admissions for the 2012-2013 school year

Thank you for your interest in Atlanta Progressive Preschool. We accept children 1 year to five years of age.

Open Houses
Open Houses are for parents only – there is no childcare provided.  Morning open houses require registration.  Call the preschool office to register – (404) 634-5134 Ext 213.

Wednesday, January 11th at 9:30am (Full)
Thursday, January 19th at 10:00am
Thursday, January 26th at 6:30pm
Wednesday, February 1st at 9:30am

Current family application deadline is February 3, 2012.  We will begin to accept new family applications on February 6, 2012 starting at 8:00am.

Application Process:

• Parent to attend open house.
• Parent to complete 2012-2013 application and enclose $110 non-refundable application fee.  Applications for new families are accepted starting February 6th at 8am and are accepted until the class is full.
• School to schedule visit for child.  Visit day is February 17th and is mandatory for all children.
• Letter sent regarding acceptance in mid-March.
• Deposit Due before May 1st.
• There is a home visit over the summer with your teacher.
• 1st payment due August 1st.
• School begins Wednesday, August 15th, 2012.

2012-2013 Tuition and fees

The tuition scale is as follows and paid over 10 months with the first payment due August 1st:
2 days a week – $260/mo
3 days a week – $350/mo
5 days a week – $440/mo

Tuition

Tuition is due on the 1st of the month. Tuition is paid in ten equal monthly payments due on the first of each month. The first payment is due August 1, 2012.  Deductions are not made for holidays or absences.

Lunch

Lunch bunch is for children ages 2 years and older. The cost is $6 per day/per child. Children bring their lunch and stay an additional hour. Late and/or last minute reservations, if space is available, are $10/day.

Tuition Deposit/Last Month

Tuition deposits (due before May 1, 2012) are required for all children. The tuition deposit is equal to one month’s tuition and will be held to be used as tuition for May 2013. If the child is withdrawn from school before the end of the year, for any reason, this deposit will be forfeited.

Sibling Discount

Parents sending more than one child to Atlanta Progressive Preschool will receive a 10% discount on one child’s tuition.

Supply Fee

A supply fee is due the first week of school in August.  The supply fee covers materials such as soap, cleaners, paper, paints and much more.  The annual fee is $35.
